The Trouble with Prophecies
Click book to look inside!
The heroes of old are gone and the world of Feydern has fallen into darkness.
With the prophesised Chosen One missing, Feydern’s only hope lies with Derrick, the Last Wizard, but he doesn’t want to help. In his opinion, tracking down the missing Chosen One is an idiotic idea that will get them all killed.
But prophecies must come true and despite his best efforts, he’s dragged along on the quest. Bandits, goblins, and warring grannies stand in the way of his freedom, but he finds his greatest obstacle is destiny itself.
That’s the trouble with prophecies.
They don’t really give you a choice.
King Hunters
In the wake of the Shadow Monarch's defeat, the old kingdoms seek to re-establish themselves. The trouble is no one can remember where the borders were... no one except the elves.
But the elves haven't been seen in Feydern for over 300 years and their return might not be the cause for celebration people think it is. There were reasons the Monarch drove them out.
Sometimes, bad things happen to bad people.
Muse tries not to subscribe to that idea. If it turns out to be true, then he's due one hell of a comeuppance. Conman, performer, and wielder of bardic magic, he's done more than enough to warrant a karmic backhand. But with the freedom of the free races at stake, will he use his magic for good, or abandon them to save his own skin?
Apocalypse Later (coming soon)
Alaice, recently promoted 'writer' of the Monks of Prophecy, has writer's block.
It happens sometimes, but that's no excuse to write an apocalyptic prophecy out of spite. Especially, when she didn't include a loophole. She never meant for it to be published, but now that it has, it's the solemn duty of the Monks to make sure it comes true. No exceptions. Just because it means the end of the world doesn't mean it gets a pass.
Going against everything she's been taught, Alaice must now work against prophecy to make sure hers does not come true.
But how do you fight Destiny?
Fortunately, a certain barbarian knows the answer to that.
